My girlfriend is very adventurous and wants to have sex in less than private places. I get excited about it at first but then I get so scared that we will get caught that I can’t perform. I’m afraid that if I’m not able to step up to the plate she will find someone that will. What can I do to help my inhibitions about public sex?

You are suffering from a very common problem. A lot of guys cannot perform if they aren’t comfortable with their surroundings.
A couple of things you can are as follows:
1. You can try to create the illusion of being in a public place where getting caught is a possibility but you know that you are safe. Since it is your girlfriend that is the thrill seeker. So perhaps at yours or her place of employment at a quiet time. Or a park in a rarely used park trail.
2. You can also seek out a therapist or someone that is skilled in hypnosis. He or she could, with the placement of triggers, use techniques that would lessen your inhibitions in those circumstances.
No matter what your decision I wish you the best, public sex can be very thrilling.
